Isaiah was having far too much fun carrying his (and by his, I mean my) decorative Easter eggs around the house in his little Easter basket. So I thought, why not make a game out of it?
Enter...the easiest afternoon Easter game you've ever seen.
Find an open area in your home and hang an Easter basket from a ceiling (or doorway)...
Grab a handful of plastic eggs...
Aim...and toss!
Isaiah's still itty bitty, so this helped us practice our coordination (and underhand tossing). But the game can easily be adapted for older kiddos. You can hang the basket higher, add a tape "toss line", etc.
After a while, we even amended the game to "swinging the basket" and seeing who could land one inside. Super easy (and free) afternoon fun.
And that's my favorite kind. ;)
Note: This goes without saying (but I am going to say it anyways). Please make sure your wee little ones have adult supervision while playing this game. And be sure to take the basket down as soon as it is no longer in use...
