We've been planning this little activity for a while...
We made our little friend, Frosty, out of legos last Christmas. And ever since, I knew he'd be perfect for his own little winter wonderland.
So this year, all we had to do was make his snow globe. I'd been saving an old jelly jar (love the vintage look) for the occasion.
We simply hot glued our snowman to the jar lid...
Filled the jar with a few spoonfuls of glitter (I used costume glitter, because I wanted a finer texture).
Then filled the jar to the brim with distilled water. You'll want enough water to leave just a small air bubble when turned upside down.
All that was left was gluing on the lid, complete with snowman (although I have to admit, I kinda felt like I was drowning him).
Poor Frosty has been in an Isaiah induced blizzard ever since...

I meant to do this with my daughter, but never got around to it. Next Christmas!
(Also, I love those little jam jars - I save all of them!)
Aren't they the best?! Hope you make one next Xmas!
